Penelope Plum's story explores what it may be like for a child diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. Throughout the book, Penelope shows a glimpse of what she experiences in her everyday life. The story helps readers to have more of an understanding of what it may be like for someone with Tourette Syndrome and provides healthy, safe, and courteous examples of how to be supportive to children who have similar experiences to Penelope.
